Mercury range cookers, canopies, hobs, modular ovens and grills carry a guarantee that expires 3 years after the date of delivery to the end customer or 4 years after the date of delivery to Mercury's authorised dealer, whichever is the sooner.

This guarantee covers:

Electrical components including elements, fans, thermostats, energy regulators and ignition devices.
Gas valves and burners (but excluding burner caps).
Mechanical components including control knobs, door hinges and drawer runners.

These components are not covered by the guarantee:

Internal and external panels
Oven shelves and grill racks
Burner caps
Pan supports and trivets
Roasting tins and grill pans
Wok rings, griddle plates and other accessories
Light bulbs and other consumables

The guarantee covers defective components and workmanship but specifically excludes deterioration and failure due to incorrect installation, fair wear and tear and damage resulting from spillages and from the use of inappropriate cleaning materials.

Any defective parts covered by the warranty will be replaced free of charge, subject to reasonable access to the cooker being granted during normal working hours from Monday to Friday. Proof and date of purchase will be required prior to any service visit.

The guarantee applies in this form to products bought and used within the UK and for domestic use only; it is not transferable. Products sold outside the UK will be covered by the terms of sale of that country's Mercury importer.
